Age Limit
- The age limit for HERC Vacancy 2025 is 18- 42 Years.
- Age Relaxation: For SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rule Regulation is also applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
1) Director (Technical) – Contract Basis
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Power Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 1 year at SE level in a large power utility
- Expertise in planning, design, and operations across generation, transmission, and distribution
Age Limit: Up to 63 years (for retired candidates)
2) Law Officer – Regular Basis
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in Law from a recognized university
- Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric level
- Member of Bar Association
- 10 years of legal practice, including 4 years in Electricity Laws before APTEL or SERC
Age Limit: As per Haryana Govt rules
3) Consultant (Technical) – Contract Basis
Eligibility:
- Retired Director / Engineer-in-Chief / Chief Engineer from power sector (generation/transmission/distribution)
- Deep understanding of electricity regulatory issues
Remuneration:
- Retired candidates: Last pay drawn minus pension + HERC allowances
- Others: ₹1,50,000/month fixed
Role:
- Advise on ARR, Capex, tariff fixation, PPAs, performance monitoring, and other technical matters
